As you will be the one doing the work, let’s start with a little about you. This topic can get a little tough for some, so hang in there as I’m going to belabor a point or two here with regard to the old question  “Who am I?” The question, although of some importance, does little in resolving the human condition as you are the summation of your considerations at any given moment, which can and do change, but you, the one who considers, never change. Only your considerations change.  A more revealing question would be “What am I?” which reveals a truth from which we can derive workable exercises. Fundamentally you are spirit, a limitless, eternal, and ubiquitous presence (more so when without form - material or immaterial), capable or incapable, limited or unlimited only by considerations and by that I mean thoughts, ideas, beliefs, etc. You are a receipt point and emanation point - you can perceive (input) and you can intend / create (output) and that’s about it. Actually you are not really at a location point in the physical universe at all, but are within and without things. Only by consideration and belief are you at a location behind the eyes in a body separate from all else.  The body (as well as "who" your are) is actually more like an ID card and an experience/creation vehicle that you animate and communicate through here on earth. As you are of a different nature than that of the physical universe, you can never be physically seen. You can only be known or experienced by your creations, or

  by those things of or belonging to you such as your body, beliefs, thoughts, attitudes, emotions, aspirations, decisions, possessions, etc. the sum of which being “who” you are.

You are spirit (timeless, motionless, non-localized, unlimited awareness) amidst forms existing in and limited by space and time which you have so identified yourself with and have become so lost in that you have come to believe that you are time limited, motion / position limited and individuated as a spirit.  

 In the exercises, we will begin to work with our beliefs, identities, thoughts and emotions as of our world but not as ourselves; more as objects separate from ourselves, as any thought, or feeling you have is actually separate from you and is not you, but generated from/within you. This is evident, if for no other reason than, by the very simple and often overlooked fact that you are experiencing them and for experience to occur, there must be that which is experienced and that which is experiencing, which requires a viewpoint of dimension i.e., a viewer, space through which to view and the viewed.     What you are observing are intended / created energy waves / particles as forms or masses of varying degrees of solidity.
