We even say “it’s heavy” or “it really weighs me down” as opposed to a pleasant memory, which is less dense and which makes us feel “lighter” or even “high”.  Other (physical) masses, like air, or the mass of a mountain, are energy particles, or groups of particles of differing degrees of solidity and just as mountains and air are not a part of you , so too your mental pictures and yes, even your beliefs are no less apart from what you are.  You are a nothingness bringing about everythingness, a nothingness cloaked in everythingness..

Well, I've covered a bit about spirit here but I haven't mentioned much about mind and body.  Would you say you are your body?  "Yes!", you might say, "but I'm more than just that."  What about your thought's and emotions? Wouldn't they be you too? And what about your goals and aspirations aren't they you as well?

We could say we exist as or through the following and their many attendant substrata:

Body - survival / stimulus response / death

Mind - thinking / intelligence / figure-figure

Spirit - awareness / creation / eternal life

You can and do exist as or through these vehicles to different degrees at any given moment, but I'd be willing to bet that the majority of the time would be spent in the first two.  My aim is to get you more in the spirit realm, not only for the sake of enhancing everyday life, but because from that state, resolving issues of the mind and body is more easily facilitated.

Taking a Route:  A couple of attributes of arriving at a destination are choosing a route and changing your location moment by moment, willingly leaving where you have been and taking your next step to where you are going. You can’t stay in the same place if you wish to arrive at another destination.  You can’t just read a map or another’s memoirs about their journey and expect to have traveled the distance necessary to arrive at the destination.  You have to traverse.  Of course, you will have to be the one who arrives. No one can arrive for you. As with this route, you should be accepting of change, be willing to leave the old (parts of) you behind as you recreate the new. There may be some bumps along the way, but just keep going, enjoy the journey and don’t too much anticipate the destination.  Change through realizations can be subtle like the change of the position of the hour-hand of a clock. But after many are achieved the change in retrospect can be extraordinary.

Thankfully, there are numerous paths for today's soul seeker. Just know that assuming you know a path's destination without having first referenced a map or somehow gained knowledge of its whereabouts can be a barrier to getting to the destination.   To not follow through on your course would be like ending an experiment prematurely because you assumed you knew its outcome. You'll have to find a path in harmony with your being and see it through to the end. I hope this path is that for you, but if not (and even if so), there are others that will lead you to you.
