These are simple exercises aimed at strengthening your ability to observe and perceive without thinking. It's been called "mindfulness"
by some other practices, but as that infers being full of mind, I prefer to call it "mindlessness". If indeed the mind is
used to think and contemplate survival and is one of the components of the "mind, body, spirit"
composite being, then it is indeed mindlessness that I'm referring to. It may be
more descriptive and appropriate to label the state as spiritfulness
nowness or neutral awareness perception.
